Aquatic Life

In this section you will find information about different forms of aquatic life: fish, plants, invertebrates and so on. The section is divided in different categories (temperate, tropical, brackish, marine etc) and each of these categories includes information about organisms that live in these environments.
So what is the difference between Aquatic Life and Fishkeeping? In Aquatic Life we have included profiles of aquatic organisms and information about the biotopes of these organisms. In Fishkeeping, on the other hand, we discuss keeping these organisms in captivity.
For ease of navigation we have included, in the Species Index below, the species listed in this category; these appear in alphabetical order. The name of each species is a link leading to the relevant profile. For information on ecology, biotopes and everything else please click on the links in the left hand side column.
